You’re likely to be a member of this Scheme if you joined National Grid on or before 31 March 2002, or if you previously worked for Transco, Lattice, BG plc or British Gas prior to 1997.

If you were a former member of Section B of the Scheme, in 2024 you were transferred to the National Gas Transmission Pension Scheme: https://ngtpensions.nationalgas.com

If you joined the Company on or before 6 April 2006 as Electricity Transmission staff (working solely on electricity work), you’re likely to be a member of the National Grid Electricity Group of the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme known as ‘NGEG’, or ‘the Group’: https://ngeg.nationalgridpensions.com
If you joined the Company after 2002, you’re likely to be a member of National Grid’s defined contribution scheme. Please refer to the Company Infonet for more information.
