With effect from 1 September 2024, the governance services to support the Trustee in managing the Scheme, currently provided by NGUKPS Trustee Executive Limited (TEL), will be provided by Lane, Clark and Peacock LLP (LCP).
LCP has recently been appointed by the Trustee to deliver these services going forwards. Most of the existing TEL team will transfer to LCP from September and remain part of the NGUKPS expert team, making sure the continuation of services to the Scheme and the Trustee Board is seamless.
Key features of the appointment include:
- Continuity of service for the Trustee by retaining the extensive experience, knowledge and expertise of the current TEL employees
- Ready access to the wide-ranging pensions expertise available within LCP to support the Trustee as necessary
- Providing flexibility and robustness to the Trustee executive and governance services as the needs of the Scheme and Trustee continues to evolve over time.
Commenting, NGUKPS Chair, Chris Martin said:
“We are very grateful to TEL for the excellent support they have provided to the Board over the years. LCP has been appointed because they have impressed us with their commitment to the Trustee and to our employees. We are delighted to have chosen them as our partner to support us in this next phase of the Scheme’s journey.”
The move to LCP doesn’t affect Scheme members who should continue to contact the Guildford administration team with any queries about their Scheme pension or benefits.
